Welcome, dearest reader.

Fenrir is a mythological beast, a norse deity of wild nature and destruction. Fenrir is a symbol for the shadow, and for embracing and accepting every part of yourself, even the part you or others want to see bound in chains.

And, lastly, Fenrir is – me.

I am Fredrik Westblom. I am a Fenno-Swedish journalist living in the city of Vaasa on the west coast of Finland. I am an artist – not by trade, and not by degree, but by heart – and I enjoy writing, LARP:ing, theatre and music. I am an avid hiker and I enjoy spending time in nature. I am bisexual, queer and polyamorous and I am recovering from depression.

I am also an occultist and a spiritual seeker. I am practicing Chaos magic, and I am deeply interested in Wicca, Christian mysticism, Taoism, Hermeticism, Mindfulness and Thelema. I have been interested in spirituality all my life, but when I was forced to reconsider my life in 2014 because of depression I began a deeper spiritual journey to find and accept myself. And in neopagan circles I go by the name Fenris, which means we have come full circle.
